Here are the definitions of some terms that you might not understand! (:
Frequency(f)- the number of complete waves produced per second
Wave speed(v) – the distance travelled by a wave per second.
Wave crest and troughs – the high and low points of the graphs respectively.
Amplitude (A) – amplitude of one oscillation is the amplitude of the wave. It is the half the vertical distance between a wave crest and a wave trough
Wavelength(λ)- shortest distance between any 2 points on the wave that are in phase.
Period (T) – the period of one oscillation is the period of a wave(time taken for a wave crest to move through a distance equal to the wavelength.
Pulse - A single disturbance moving through a medium from one location to another location
Velocity - measurement of speed and direction.
